Simple Instructions (for the computer-savvy)
Use the "Find File" under "Start" menu to locate the file "RWT95app.exe" on your hard drive probably in the "tlcwin" folder, but not necessarily. Rename that file. Unzip the file "RWT95app.exe" from our web site. Place that unzipped file in the same folder as the previous file that you renamed. 

Detailed Instructions (for the less computer-savvy)

1.	Find the previous Read, Write, & Type! application file and rename it to save it. This can be done as follows: 

1.	Click on the "Start" menu or press the Windows shortcut key to open the start menu. 
2.	Choose "Find", then "Files or Folders..." from this menu. 
3.	In the text box titled "Named", type "RWT95app.exe" (don'tactually type the quotation marks). 
4.	If you know which disk drive that you installed Read, Write &Type!, then choose this using the pulldown menu entitled "Look In". 
5.	Click on the "Find Now" button. If Read, Write, & Type! is installed on the given disk drive, then it will show up in the list at the bottom of the Find File dialog. If it is not found, then change the disk drive in the "Look In" menu and try again. 
6.	Once you have located the "RWT95app.exe" file in the list, click on it to select it (don't double-click it). 
7.	From under the "File" menu, choose "Open Containing Folder". A window containing the file will open. Note that it will contain other files that share the same directory. 

2.	Once you have located the "RWT95app.exe" file, you can rename it to make sure you can get it back in case the new file does not work for you. To do this:

1.	click on the "RWT95app.exe" file in the window, this should leave it highlighted (selected). 
2.	Under the "File" menu, choose "Rename", this will select the text in the file's icon. 
3.	Type in a new name that you will remember, like "RWT95appOriginal.exe". 
4.	Press the "Enter" key on the keyboard, or click anywhere off the file to complete the change. 

3.	Copy the new file into the same directory as the original file:

1.	Unzip the new file by double clicking on the zip file. This should extract a new version of the "RWT95app.exe". Details for doing this may vary, but you should take note of the directory that the file get's unzipped into. 
2.	Open the directory containing the new file. 
3.	While holding down the control key (usually labeled "Ctrl"), click and drag the new copy into the same directory as the original file. 
4.	Your new version should now work just as the original did.
